will car run without alarm module?
I removed the alarm module to bypass it as per clarks garage, but i busted the whole thing up in the process, can I just leave it out and jumper the terminals like clark says?

Yep.

thx George

I have an extra if you ever decide you need a good one again.
|
thx Sydney, I may want it, I still can't get this thing running, I jumped out pins 1&4, 7&8 on the big connector and nothing on the small one, but it seems like the small one may be involved somehow because I first accidentily jumped pin 1 from the small conn. to pin 4 of the big conn. and all the dash lights came on as if i had the key in the run position, which I did not at the time. ??? I don't know what's going on, I might also have a bad DME, I know my relay and fuses are good and I'm getting good fuel pressure, just no spark.

Which car is it? Different alarms in each of the ones listed in your sig.
|
Ya they are different. I have a DME and alaram module out of an 86 if you are interested let me know
|
Not only is 88-89 different, 91 is yet another different one.
|
This one is an '87 na, i bought it not running, so it could be almost anything i guess, but like i said i know the relays are good and i have good fuel pressure, just no spark. Porsche 4life i am interested if the '86 is the same, i think it is.

The dme tested good by 944 ecology. I assume the alarm mod is good. I will throw it in if you buy the DME.
