86 944 Fuel Injector Question

My #2 injector just started leaking today (aggressive leaking from the bottom), I replaced the tip and o- rings (coated o- rings with trans fluid), however after reinstalling the injectors the # 2 injector still leaks pretty bad. Couple of questions:

1. Any recommendations on this injector? All the others work fine.
2. Is it recommended to have all the injectors serviced?
3. Any recommendations of a company on the east coast to have them serviced(Philadelphia area)?

Thanks,
Bob

I am not sure how much it costs to get them serviced, but I bought 4 brand new ones online here somewhere for $200.

Bob:

Very good questions you are asking here!

First and foremost, SAFETY is a big issue with me so as far as your number 1 question: Replace this injector.

You run a risk of a serious fire getting started and we don't want that.

Second question: with the fuel rail off, you should take the time to replace all the seals for each injector. This is cheap insurance.

Third question: I believe **********.com is a company on the East Coast that does this type of work.

Good luck with your project.
