Question SPORT seat covers

Anybody know where to get SPORT seat covers for '83 944? Prefer good quality vinyl to keep cost down. Seems that covers for STANDARD seats are all that are readily available.
Maybe local upholstery shop is the only choice?

I had my DR (early, sport /w Porsche script) seat completely rebuilt for $350. Turn key. Looks BRAND new. Can't tell that was ever a basket case (left bolster was badly torn /w missing foam before I had it done). I was gonna drop an aftermarket seat in but this turned out to be a much better option.

Stuttgart SW in Tempe, AZ brokered the job out to a restorer (who I believe focuses on Jag restorations) in Phoenix. Did a STELLAR job. Highly recommended.

Did the restorer in phx re-do your seat with script material?

He kept the original script material intact (it wasn't really damaged although it's ever so slightly faded from time) and you can't tell he swapped out the vinyl at all. It looks awesome. Factory to a tee. Just like it looked in 1985. When I gave him the car the left half of the seat was trash (lots of cracks in the bolster and piping in multiple locations, high and low plus a bunch of damaged and missing foam). The center, right, back and top areas of the seat were still in reasonable / good condition. When I got it back the seat looked NEW.

I was skeptical but Jack (Doverspike, Stuttgart SW) assured me the job would meet my standards. When I got it back to say, "I was impressed" would be an understatement.

The interior is black vinyl with (apparently coveted) Navy Blue PORSCHE script (early sport seats). Now the only part of the interior that looks "old" (other than patina) is the dash, what with it's various cracks (which are covered with a carpet style cover). The car is an 85/1 Sport option (Fuchs, LSD, etc.).

They St... SW also rebuilt the cargo cover after I collected all of the various parts from Porsche of N Scottsdale. Jack thought it would be impossible to refurb that but I figured out (with the help of a smart parts geek) that there were TWO styles of cargo cover during the early years. If you have the type I have the parts are all available (from P N/A ... not all that expensive either!). If you have the other type there's one magic piece of the tensioner mechanism (end) that isn't produced any longer (and is apparently impossible to find).
