'84 vacuum problem with pics
The first inlet (nearest the boot) that runs to the FPR on the throttle body has almost no vacuum. The second inlet has full vacuum. Lines disconnected for clarity. Any ideas ?

That is normal. The front port is before the throttle plate so it will only see vacuum with the throttle open. The front port should be hooked up to the thermovalve (for fuel vapor purge) on the back coolant port of the cylinder head. The FPR line should be hooked up after the throttle plate.
