So I was trying to rewire my 1984 944 and Im now having some problems! My car wont hold a charge and keeps going dead can someone help me troubleshoot this one.

I am not much of a mechanic,but there is a method of putting a meter on your battery connection and look at the current draw.You then pull one fuse at a time to see where the problem is.
Another possibility I have heard is to check your battery cables all the way to the end and see if the covering is cracked and the exposed cable is touching metal.I think this will also drain the battery.
I am sorry if I am not very technical,but I am sure some other member will explain it better.
