whats that thing behind the batt, w 2 posts?
 

anyone know what that small rectangular shaped thing with two posts on it is? one post is for a lead from the batt + terminal, the other goes I don't know where. It sits just behind the battery towards the pass. compartment and is about 1 inch long by 3/4" wide.

I wanna say it deals with the battery tie down, if it is what I think you are talking about. If you are on the pass. side of the car, it is behind the battery, right?

No, it is an electrical component, on a '91, there is a wire from the batt. pos. terminal on one post and another wire on the other post, I don't know where it goes, or even if it is original equipment!
