Rear defogger wiring
85.5 N/A I have checked the usual cul[prits as to why no electric rear defogger.
1. The strut wiring looks ok as verified by ohm meter. 2. with ohm meter checked the drivers side contact and it goes to ground. 3. with volt meter I get 12v on the passenger side lead when the care is off and the front doors are closed. the resistance to ground changes when i open/close the passenger door (related to dome light, maybe?) 4. the passenger side defogger wire is spliced so I know someone tried to repair it. Can anyone give me some clues as to how the defogger wires route and what else is supposed to be on the circuit with it? Thanks |

Check your relay in the fuse box G3. Make sure it is working. Hopefully it is something simple.

Also, check your Bridge Adapter relay G6 slot.

I pulled the wiring diagram from the web. according to my meter the ground and and hot are reveresed from what the diagram says it should be. i am hoping it is s shorted relay and the local parts store carries it.
