Front Hub Bearings

Help. Brass would not help with taking out the front bearing races, so went to hitting with steel. Outer came out without difficulty and I thought inner did as well. But looking at the hub you see these two indentations. Will this be a problem?

Probably not a problem... The proper way to get those bearing races out is to heat the hub (with propane torch), then to use a brass drift to punch them out. Not as damaging as steel to the aluminum hub.
