Can I resurface ATE power disc rotors?
Front pad light is on. Car has ATE power disc rotors and the slot is fairly worn. Does anybody know if these are able to be turned or are they out of spec if the slot is gone. Thanks

Hmmmmm. According to the ATE website, the groove serves a dual purpose:
1) Enhanced heat and gas dissapation. 2) Patented RotorLife wear indicator shows when the rotor needs replacement ![]()

You would spend just as much to try to fix them as getting new ones, and they would still wear out soon... Don't try to save with your brake system, better to be safe than have brake failure.
