A/C dryer question
replacing the A/C receiver/dryer on an 83 944, which way does the "in" face? I removed the old one without checking first. Does the port marked "in" face the front of the car and the high side port, or the rear of the car? TIA.

The freon is moving from the compressor to the condenser then to the drier. So "IN" is going to be closer to the middle of the car, or to be sure, the line coming from the condenser. Out will go to the expansion valve then the evaporator. Look at the lines to be sure.
