Ignition Swithc Help?
 

So one day after finishing a drive, i try to turn my key to turn off the car. When i turn the key and take it out, I notice my car is still running...I try messing with the key to try to turn it off but nothing work so i have to stall it. I change out the ignition switch thinking that it is the problem but the issue still happens. What can i do to fix this problem? if it helps, when i take out the key the lights on the hud are on as if the key was turned all the way right before you turn the key to start the engine. Please help. =(

What year is your car? Did you replace the switch at the end of the Key switch. It has a number of male round plugs built on it. It sounds as if the key is not actuating that switch properly. If you have an early 944 pre 1985.5, Clarks Garage has a full discription of how to remove and replace it. Hope this helps somewhat.

Sorry. Yes I did replace the rear ignition switch thanks to clarks garage =D and my car is the earlier model of the 944. It still has the issue please help
