NA to Big Black question

I've got the spindles, calipers, and hubs to convert my track car to 928 GTS calipers and rotors. My question is: who has done this and can you comment on the need to change the brake lines on a NA car? Do I need to go to the 951S hard and flexible lines? Is there an alternative?
Thanks in advance

I can't answer your question, but if you are interested in 951 Turbo S calipers I have a set for sale for $500.

Thanks, but as I said in the post I have the calipers. Since there seems to be a difference between the early and late 951 S calipers and most need rebuilding, I went with a fairy new set of BigBlacks. Not much more and the rotors seem to be cheaper.

Some later cars i believe had a hardline that screwed into the caliper, then the flexible line between that and the hardline to the master cylinder. You need to take a look at the front calipers to see what you have.

Either way, you can simply get the lines that screw directly into the caliper and delete the hardline all together. This is personally the way i would do it regardless of which way you have it on your car right now as you can eliminate 2 extra fittings (potential leak / failure points).
