in tank fuel filter
does my early 85 944 have an in tank fuel filter if so can it be replaced without removing the tank. thank you

Hi, no you have an external filter. It is up behind the passenger rear wheel around the gas tank area.

If you have the plastic gas tank there is a sock filter near the fuel pump.
