Angry 924s no start

i have an 88 924s with no fuel pressure no spark or injector pulse. We bypassed the dme relay and we had fuel pressure but nothing else replaced with new relay you can feel it click but thats in no pressure nothing. We replaced the dme with a good used one and nothing changed . We put in new reference sensors as well all the engine does is spin over doesn't even attempt to start i feel i'm losing my mind with this car any help would be appreciated.

If someone has or know where to get a detailed wiring and ground location diagrams on this vehicle it would be greatly helpful in my quest to repair my vehicle.

thanks

Hello, have you checked for spark out of the coil? If there is spark out of the coil, check the distrib cap and rotor, clean as necessory, check to see if rotor screw is tight, pull a spark plug wire and use an extra spark plug and ground it to see if there is spark to the plug. Look in Clarks-Garage for tech problems. I believe if you look back thru the threads on here you will find other "No Start" or "No Spark" writeups. All European wires that are a Brown Color are Earth/Ground Wires. Go to an auto parts store and buy a couple of small wire brushes to clean the ground areas, take apart to clean. I use clear silocone over the cleaned area to protect it. My son and I checked everything and It ended up being the ignition switch. Not the key part, but forward of the key where about eight wires plug into as a unit.
Hope I have helped somewhat.
Cheers,
Larry

I forgot one thing. Have you checked the fuse that powers the fuel pump? On my 944 it is fuse #34. It should be in the panel top lid instructions as to what fuse goes where.

yea if u have no fuel pressure at the rail and u've already jumped the DME relay, then u need to start looking at the pump's power. if the pump is even working. or if filter is clogged or something.

The Main Ground is a braided flat wire from battery to engine block. Look for other wires grounded to the body frame and under the rear cargo carpet. You will just have to look for them.

sometimes the contacts where the relay lives get bent out of shape from being jumpered, etc. try looking there, being that jumpering it caused the pump to run.

Should check the ignition coil also, it is a quick check (look at Clarks Garage), and the Fuel pump regulater.
