DME is hard to test. Send it to George at 944 ecology or IAN at 944 online. There is suppose to be a test procedure in the factory manuals but I've never read it so I don't know for sure there is or how complicated it is to do that.

Don't remember your last post...what is your problem?

Maybe you could borrow or purchase a known working DME for your car to see if it solves your no start problem..

Not sure what your last post said, but when I did my head job, I mistakenly swapped the speed and reference sensor connectors. Drove me nuts, until I relooked at everything. That was when I realized what I had done wrong

Ok, so let's start from the beginning....

Voltage at coil with key on? Black wire should have 12V or more. Check it also during cranking as it needs it then as well and it's a different set of contacts and wires.

Voltage at injectors? No voltage here but at the coil, then DME relay is the problem or broken injector harness which is a common problem. Put the jumper wire in DME relay socket to test that. (Even new ones sometimes fail; using a jumper wire eliminates the possibility completely and it's easy to make one). Fuse box connectors also have been known not to make contact to get the 12V to the injectors...so look them over and use a volt meter there to make sure you have voltage at pin 30.

Should also have 12V at 18 and 35 on the DME plug.

Let us know what you find from these tests and we'll go from there.
