Running out of steam

My 944 N/A wants to die and refuses to start when it has been driven more than 10 or 15 minutes, leaving me stranded on any roadway that I have to stop.

Has anyone had this warm engine no-run problem.

When it runs, it purrs like a kitten. Fresh cap, rotor, wires, plugs recently installed. Passed CA smog with flying colors.

Pop in your spare DME relay and see if the problem resolves.

Other possible causes:

1) Reference/Speed sensor are dying (Connectors or the actual sensors)
2) DME computer has bad solder joints

Others as well, but those come to mind right away.
