shouldn't be hard as long as you take off all the accessory belts first. that's how you mess up the center, by the way.

Do you have the right crank? The crank snout on the manual steering cars doesn't have a shoulder for a PS pulley

Hey that's my messed up crankshaft pulley! How do you mean? The power steering pulley is the last attachment to go on.

[QUOTE=exitwound;4823250]Hey that's my messed up crankshaft pulley!/QUOTE] You're famous! I was lazy and just Googled "power steering crank pulley" , clicked on Google Images at the top---THERE IT WAS! I did not see a watermark or copyright. Photo credit to exitwound. Thanks exitwound. I don't believe it was the result of anything I did to make it so uneven on the inside. I think it was more wear and tear from the PS mount's broken bolts and skewed installation (due to the previous owner's collision) than anything I could have done. That's why I asked the question above. I don't think *I* did anything to make that happen. It should come off fairly easy though. sometimes, a little tug or tap was needed, but never a lot of force.

I believe some 83 cars had power steering as an option and all 84 and up had power steering.
