Angry Im so frustrated.

My new car is awesome. Runs super strong and look pretty damn good from the outside. The inside on the other hand has a ton of plastic items that are broken. I have interior panels where the leather is separating. My windshield mirror is kind of busted and I couldnt for the life of me figure out how to get it open. if it even can.

My map pockets on my door are all busted up. I bought two "EXCELLENT CONDITION" door panels with map pockets on ebay and they were worse than the ones I already have. I paid a good amount of money for those too. My center console leather was coming off so I ordered new leather. Come to find out that the plastic where all the screws go in is all busted up. So I have have to get a new center console plastic thing.

I am trying to glue all the leather back onto the panels and its not sticking! You know the panel on the ceiling of the car right next to the hatch window? thats the panel im trying to get the edges of the leather to stick again. it wont take.

Is there a good place onlie where I can buy new intertior stuff for the my car? I want to restore it. Im afraid if I buy off ebay ill end up with someone elses crap.

im going to snap pics of my results when I wake in a few hours. I have to walk away from this before I put my fist through the windshield.

You can get your money back for the door panels as being misrepresented. You would have to pay to ship them back to seller. Let us on here know who this DeadBeat Seller is (ebay Name), so none of us will by from him. The 3M Adhesive is supposed to be good, but you have to rig something up to press against what you are gluing.

All new interior "stuff." Highest quality you will find. I would pay the few bucks extra to have it be perfect with no surprises.

Sorry for the late reply. I was out driving all day Got out a lot fo frustration while driving.

Anyways,... this is the auction link. His ebay name is damiza951. He already refunded me 30 without even having to ask. But I did ask him for a full refund because the panels just werent what he said they were. Totally. I was going to fix them and then sell them but I dont have time for that.

Thanks for the link.If you guys have any other sites for parts that would be great. My interior needs work. Thank god thats the only work that needs to be done.

I got my center console leather but I need a new center console first but mine is all cracked and @#$%. I got my new shift boot too. I'll put that on now unless theres something broken under the original boot.

Those panels look great in the auction pics. Did he just send you completely different panels? I bought a great set of panels from a local fella on craigslist for $35 for both. If cleaned up and shined I bet I could pass them off as the ones in the auction. So check craigslist for people parting stuff out --> http://geo.craigslist.org/iso/us/nj

They "LOOK" good but they are not. They are all broken. The map pockets and are broken all over. The panels on my car are beter than these. You paid 35 each for yours,.. I paid 255 shipped for these. Hardly worth 255! I thought I was getting something prestine. Nope.

I'll have to check craigslist then. I just replaced the leather on my shifter. The leather is very loose. I assume it will shrink right? And of course the shift boot rim is broken a bit but I might just deal with it seeing that its not that bad.

Just saw on pelican that a center console lid is like 300 soemthing dollars?!?!? Is this right?!?! Just the lid?!?!?

the inner boot is mauled and the outer boot is split along a seam. I'm gonna stitch the outer... Anyone know a good fix for the rubber inner? I was thinking of patching with a layer of thin rubber (glued on) covered with a backup of ballistic nylon (sewn on).

My inner boot was wrecked. I tossed it and used several layer of foam instead so I dont feel the inner structure while rest my hand on the stick. Works great.

Do you know if the outer boot will shrink. I think it will but not sure. MY outer boot has a lot of slack.

It was $35 for both panels ($17.50 each) but they were not perfect either. The pocket mounts had a couple cracks but nothing major and you couldn't even tell by looking into them. I don't mean to make you feel like poo by mentioning my good luck, I've suffered my fair share of set backs and disappointments.

Unless I'm mistaken, the inner boot is mainly to keep our junk, noise and smells out of the cabin so anything that could do that (like the foam) should work just fine. I can't imagine that it would shrink. I have replaced boots myself over the years and noticed that they tend to wear from being stretched creating more slack or cracking, etc. Maybe you bought the OEM boot and there is some magic to it that I am unaware of. Someone else may chime in.

Well,... i guess this is my first run of bad luck with this car. I really need to learn to do fiberglass. Make fiberglass versions of everything. I wish there was plastic version of the interior panels. I dont mind all the leather but plastic panel that look like leather,.... I'd be all other that.

What's wrong with your windshield mirror? Mine was a little "floppy"... the day/night switch didn't work and there was really no tension to keep the mirror in place. I got a can of "Great Stuff" and squired it inside through the hole for the day/night switch. I was able to clean off the extra and now it works great.

Try the 3M Super Spray Adhesive (I think that's the name anyway), it works GREAT. The regular strength 3M Spray Adheisve won't work with vinyl/leather but the "Super" stuff has no problem. It costs about $25 per can though.

Yea the mirror is real floppy. Do you know of a replacement without the day/ night feature? Dont really want to squirt great stuff into my mirror. LOL. Thats kind of funny.

I will try the 3M super spray. I need a good way to hold the leather in place for the gluing. Also,... the biggest problem is the actual pressed board. It kind of warped and a lot the of areas where the screws pass through are broken. I have to repair those. I was hoping that I could just buy replacements.

I wish there were fiberglass version for the pressed fiber board panels. That would be sweet.

Hey I spoke to TopGaiter's about my gaiter(shift boot) being to loose. I sent them a pic of it installed and they apologized and are sending me a new one. So I guess it's not suppose to be loose like this. They said your suppose to apply some glue on the shift and then pull the gaiter over the shift lever. They said it should fit like the original.

I got my head lights too. Can't wait to install them. I went to 944online and they hav a lot of stuff there! Very good! I am going to replace the read headliner with a leather wrapped fiberglass head liner instead of trying to fix the one I got. It's to warped and trashed to be fixed. I might try and fix my roof head liner,... not sure. if it doesnt go well I will just buy a new one.
