Tranny Mount Evaluation

How can you tell if you have a worn out central transaxle mount? Mine has an awful lot of play up and down. . .the gearbox bounces up and down quite enthusiastically under the right circumstances (to the point where you can see the shift lever moving up and down like a jack in the box. . .boi-oi-oi-oing).

So, how much boing is too much?
