Rehashing Engine Bay Cooling Issues

I know this has been chewed over plenty. and the consensus seems to be:
1. Belly pans are designed to induce a low pressure area which sucks air out below the engine bay.
2. Hood scoops introduce chaotic air flow into the engine bay and disrupt the designed flow pattern through the radiator.
I assume this would also apply to hood vents designed to draw air from the engine bay.

My questions is whether the vented nose panel designed to improve air flow over the oil inter-cooler is going to produce the same negative results?

sorry, that should read inter-cooler.:o

Yes (kinda), though in the case of the turbos intercooler, the positive outweighed the original negative results.

Are you having overheating troubles?

no, no overheating - but any extra cooling in the furnace that passes for an engine bay is a bonus.
