Weird noise from under dash
 

I have been noticing a very faint motor noise from under my dash near the glove box with the key in the on position. it sounds like a blower motor that is always on, but my climate control fans are off. In the morning that motor will make a wining noise for a minute or two and then go back to its faint sound. does anyone know what this is?

The fan motor will still blow a slight amount, even when the fan switch is in the off position.
I don't know what year your car is, but this is the case for the later (85.5) cars

And it's REALLY annoying when the bearing gets squeaky!
