Did I just ruin my no.1 valves?

I'm in the process of installing new belts on my car.
Unfortunately I had a lapse of concentration when I was torquing the cam shaft sprocket bolt. The cam sprocket moved clockwise about 2-3 teeth. It wasnt a very forcefull movement, but the cam did stop by itself.

Is this movment enough to ruin the valves?
How much space is there above the piston head?

TIA.

Bernie

Dont worry about it, you can be off by significantly more than that. It stopped because the lobes of the camshaft are riding on the lifters.
