Due to a clutch cylinder leak that the PO ignored for some time, the driver side carpet is soked with fluid. Do I have to remove the seat tracks and center console to get it out? What is the easiest way to remove the carpet for cleaning?

I am almost certain, but the front is a one piece unit on drivers and passenger side.
Pull it down as far as possible and soak in flat pan with cleaner. The carpet pad can just be cut out and replaced with a small section, I would be afraid to remove the center console for fear of being brittle. GL John_AZ |

Yeap, the seats have to come out. You could loosen the center console and try and work around it to pull out, but I would be afraid of ripping the carpet up in the process. Just my .02cents.
