Will 9.5J17's fit 86 951?
I'm test fitting a set of wheels on my car today. The front (965.362.126.00 et52) fits on the front ok without any spacer, but the back(965.362.128.05 et68)won't fit without spacers. My question is, with the correct spacer will the rears fit? I've been looking and seem to recall having to roll the fenders and such, but I don't remember if it was on a 944 or not and if early offset or not.
If someone has done it, do you have any pics? What size spacer combo did you end up running? Are these Cup1 or Cup2 rims? Any adverse effects running these wheels on an early offset 951? TIA |

Well after some hi-tech pawstikulaten', I think a 1-1/4 (32mm) spacer would look best, though I have no idea if that will keep the load in the right place...
