console carpet trim
 

I have any early 85 with 2 separate carpet trim pieces on either side of my center console. Driver side is in great shape, but pass side is kinda rough. The rest of my carpet is ok, so a new set won't work, but I'm struggling finding the piece I need.

Local porsche salvage yard didn't have any and I can't find anything on web yet.

The salvage yard guy aid they were an option and that not many cars had that option. I don't know if that's accurate or not.

Does anyone have one??? Know where to get them? Know where I could look?

The color I need is black.

Has anyone tried a carpet dye? If so, is there a good one to use?

duplicolor from pep biys will work, carpet dye will work and so will food coloring mixed with water and sprayed from a bottle.
