Mystery cable in trunk
Hey all, I was working on replacing some bulbs in the tail lights of the 944 Turbo I just purchased, and came across this cable in the fender well behind the left rear tire. Can anyone tell me what I'm looking at and where it should be plugged into?

Looks like a coax cable for an antenna or other signal level device. Any random screw holes back there from a CD changer or aftermarket CB antenna or CB radio (some were mountable remotely with nothing at the dash but a handheld microphone with a few buttons on it for volume, channel changing, etc).

Hmm, that's a good question, I'll take a look later today and see. Still exploring just what kind of stuff has been done to the car!

Boy John, that brought back memories. You're right, that movie probably increased CB radio sales a hundred fold in the US.

I had a 944 years back that had an early cell phone next to the console. Antenna was in the rear near top of the glass hatch.
