quick windshield replacement check
Called a couple glass places to have my windshield replaced. $170 installed for the non antenna and $325 for the antenna. I plan to just add an antenna to the rear windshield if I decide I need one so I would like to go the least expensive route.
A couple glass places said I could only have the antenna windshield installed but others stated both would fit just fine. I just want to double check that there is no fit difference between the non antenna and antenna versions of the late 944 windshield. My appointment is in 10 hours so any help would be great. Thanks! |

windshield
I have installed both and they are the same dimensions. I would go with the cheap one and add a $15 unit to the rear.

Does anyone have an antenna they would recommend? are you considering one of the short whip antennas that you would see on a volkswagon these days or what? I am putting a turbo front end on my early car and am trying to figure out what to do about an antenna. Has anyone had good luck with a specific antenna for the rear or for the roof?
