I believe 100 such interior cars were produced in 1988 -- I think it was 100 for US, not sure how many for ROW.

I think that's a B&W pic of a silver rose interior with aftermarket seats.

So I found my answer about the interior on rennlist...here's the post!

I've not seen one that I recall, but from the Peter Morgan book... 1988 "Celebration" Edition, option M757, 250 made for US in Satin Black, 250 made for US in Zermatt Silver; both would have had "Black, Studio" interior. Here's his brief note on it:

By 1988 sales were falling dramatically, with production down by nearly a third from 1987. However, this only encouraged Porsche to celebrate the 944 breaking all the company's previous sales records. To mark the 100,000th car rolling off the Neckarsulm production line, a limited edition was made available in either Zermatt Silver or Satin Black metallic.

These 'Celebration' models - effectively standard cars brought up to a very high specification - featured black leatherette, the attractive grey/maroon 'Studio' cloth and silver grey carpeting. The new plit rear seat backs were included, along with automatic heating control and removable electrically tilting sunroof. Wheels were the optional 7J front and 8J rear 'telephone dials', fitted with 205/55VR16 and 225/50VR16 tyres respectively. Integral fog lamps were also fitted at the front. US models did not have the rear '944' logon found on cars for other markets.

So, seems they did have wheels similar to Turbo, but can't speak for suspension or other running gear.
