Anyone have pics of the pad wear sensor wiring routing?

Hi

I've just replaced my single (per disc) pad wear sensor with the double (per disc) wear sensors. My question is what is the proper way to route the wire over the caliper. Is it meant to be threaded through the stainless cross shaped pad retainer or does it just float loose over the top?

My fears are that it will either be too close to the inside of the wheel rim causing wear or if I thread it then it will be too close to the disc rotor.

Anyone got a pic of the proper way to do it?
