Slight indentation from jacking incorrectly?

So I was somewhat careless and jacked up the car about six inches back from the actual jack point. It seems I made a very slight indentation in the underfloor. I'm pretty disappointed about this, but do I have anything serious to worry about?

where is this in relation to which jacking pod you were not on?

Lots of 944s I've seen have this problem. It shouldn't hurt anything but there's really no way to fix it short of welding in new metal either.

Most common causes are jacking the car up from the wrong place or from trying to place one side on a jackstand, then raising the other side. The weight of the car shifts and sideloads the jack point, which then buckles the floor pan. I've actually seen one guy knock his car off the jackstand too - that made a pretty big dent in the floorpan next to the jack point.

Be careful out there.

About 4 inches towards the center of the car, away from the diamond-marked Jack point.
