Angry 924S Clutch Issues

Hey, so im having problems with my 924's clutch. I just replaced the clutch master and slave cylinder. The problem is still persisting, the fact that the clutch pedal just drops to the floor and will not depress normally. I tried bleeding the lines, and still no improvement. I tried pumping it but nothing is helping. Im really at a loss of what might be the problem, since when i press the clutch pedal in the slave cylinder does not even move. It is stuck in the "engaged" position. Possibly the release lever arm or a bearing. If anyone has any ideas or know what the problem might be I would greatly appreciate any help i can get. Thanks!@\

Since you have tried the regular and video flushing of clutch lines, the Motive Power Bleeder is your best choice to get the air out of the lines and restore your clutch petal. The clutch fork and TO bearing are independent.

I had the same problem too. If you are SURE the lines are bled the pedal may not be adjusted correctly. I had my push rod (from clutch pedal to master cylinder) adjusted WAY too short do the spring was just yanking the clutch pedal to the floor. I lengthened mine as far as it would go and then shortened it 1/8" or so. That at least gave me a good feeling clutch pedal, but turned out that the Slave and master were not my problem.

Do yourself a favor, just get the Motive unit. . .it is a critical part of proper maintainence for your car.

Did you know your hydraulic fluid should be flushed at 24k intervals?

ok, thanks, and i tried adjusting the push rod and i dont think thats the problem, i mean it might be but as i was adjusting it it didnt seem to help at all, it still just flies straight to the floor, and even if it does go to the floor, it should move the slave cylinder right?

That depends on how much air is in the system.

Ok, well new update, i just went out and worked with my dad and we bled it some more, and then i had him pump the pedal and i watched the inspection hole and i could see it moving slightly, so im taking it that its a good sign, i just still have alot of air in the lines probably?

Yea probably. But yours is doing exactly what mine did when my push rod was too short. I would get a LITTLE pressure at the floorboard but I would have to pick the pedal up off the ground. My push rod was too short, so I'm assuming that my pedal (Even with the spring assist) wasn't fully pushing out the full amount of fluid from the master cylinder.

P.S...I didn't want to wait on a motive power bleeder, so I unclipped the pushrod from the pedal so there was no pressure. Then i had someone get under the car and take the bleeder valve all the way out. I filled the reservoir with fluid and put my mouth over it and pretended i was blowing up a float. I would tap my foot when I was running low on air and my person would close the valve. I could hear the fluid running out every time I put pressure on the brake reservoir...lol. I had to refill the brake reservoir a few times but it actually worked. Probably not a good idea to get all of that brake fluid in your mouth. Mine was numb for a while...but it dd get all of the air out of the system. If you have time order the pressure bleeder. It will make life 100x easier!

what u do with your mouth is yer own business heh

u should have gotten some vinyl house and used a water bottle for a reservoir. less mouth numbing and poisoning. u won't have to have yer stomach pumped at the ER.
