Sunroof loose when closed.

First im pissed because I took pics and my camera didnt save them to the mem stick so S@#$.

Anyways. When my sunroof is closed I can push up on it and it will move up a bit. maybe an 1/8" maybe a bit more. It's definitely not tight. Im wondering if this is normal or no? Im thinking no because that would be retarded.

I checked the lifting arm to see what it's position is and the arms pin is just below the top of the track. Is it suppose to be be at the very top? Is it possible that the track and somthing is worn that would cause this?

Also... it seems the the front of the sunroof lifts more than the back does. I have some cracked plastic up there such as the deflector hinged the the pieces that hold the front of the sunroof down. You think that could be causing it? I am going to replace the plastic pieces I am just wondering if it's the cause. Thanks.

Check also the sun roof air deflector hinges for breaks and wear. Especially at the joint in the hinge - if that is broken the top will be loose. The hinges are not all that expensive to replace.

I have cracks in them but I didnt think it would cause that much freeplay with the sunroof. I will replace them right away then. Thanks.
