Car Stopped, Does Not Want to Shift Into First
 
Title says it. Other gears OK at a dead stop, but the car doesn't want to go into first.

FWIW, I am reeling somewhat from the aftereffects of an incompetent clutch job down in Cathedral City, CA. Is this yet another symptom?

on chumpy? start in 2nd and just keep on going hehe.
