clicking sound when turning

So when i turn the wheel with the car running there's a fast clicking sound. seems like its coming from the turn signal area..in fact when i fiddle with the turn signal lever it makes the same sound.

any thoughts? Could it be just dirty contacts or something?

thanks!
Ryan

u might have a short that's clicking the turn signal relay. i'd have look into that immediately. otherwise u risk frying more wires and components.

I wouldn't know what a relay click out sound like. but its super fast clicking.

sounds like its coming straight from the turn signal switch itself.

And, it still makes the sound when the flasher relay is out. ( of course the turn signals dont blink, duh lol)

Hmm...weird..

Thanks Krystar, i appreciate your effort and help

I'd the car moving? Running?
Or does it do it with just the key on?

Oh, I thought i put that in. This is only happening when the car is running. Doesnt matter if its moving or not.

THanks!
