HELP:need to be directed to the right people
Hello, I own a 1988 porsche 944 "celebration edition". My car originally came with a commemorative plaque and a coin. I searched everywhere and cannot find info on this other than on the special editions brochure. Does anyone know whom at Porsche i would contact for info on this? The history, or maybe if they can be remade..Heck id just like to see pics of the plaque. Thanks for any help! please see my website for further info on the model.

About four months back there was a fellow who placed the Plaque and the brass Coin on eBay for the Celeb. 944 - check on eBay ever so often to see if there are more.

When at auction it was totally separated from the car and looked like they were supposed to be that way. The brass coin was faced with Ferry Porsche and on the obverse was a 944, which probably meant is was not fastened down to cover one side or the other. The plaque was one side only and showed Ferry Porsche and the 944 so it could have gone any place. Sorry I do not remember more. I do remember thinking they were quite unique and a good value for the right collection.

hmmm....was the plaque small like 3 inches, or was it a full size plaque..say around 10" or so?
