P-talk, love that tune Mother and Child. Do you pen all the tunes yourself or do you write with others? Nice mix by the way...

Thanks. I usually write most things by myself, but the rock band track was with my old band.

Haha ours are older then yours. Wait thats not a good thing.

Hows the B-17 to work on? Must be nice not having to work all night to get it ready for a long day of flying (everyday!) Hard to find parts? I know it is for us.

alfadoc 11-27-2009 05:14 PM

I sell these. In fact, this one is mine. Anyone wanna buy a house in Denver?

The B-17 is kinda fun to work on. Most of it was designed to be maintained in the field, so it's not too bad. Parts can be a bit of a challenge, but they can be found or made. In fact, a friend of mine is building new bushings for the landing gear pivot points so we can install them in the next few weeks. He's also made a batch of new tail wheel hubs machined out of billet aluminum. The original wheels are nearly impossible to find. Most of the engine and prop parts are fairly easy to source, in fact there are several shops that still rebuild them. I'll be headed out to Albuquerque in a couple of weeks to help out with some of the winter maintenance.
