I would want to see the passenger side damage first.

Well I would too. But it would have to be really bad for me not to take it.

Just strange that they make a point of telling about the passenger side damage, they have pictures of the car, but nothing of the passenger side.

I do not believe the 68,000 mileage on the speedo either as it's probably 168,000 - the early cars only have 5 digits/spaces and it's easy to role over the miles on older Porsches - and 168,00 is about right also.

I just saw a lovely 78 - 924 here locally for sale for $1000.00, the interior and re-paint straight body were in pretty good shape. It was Burgundy with the chocolate brown interior - maybe I should have picked it up.

I don't really trust anything posted on craigslist. The few things we have looked at have all been scams, this one could be as well...you never know. Good thing we have always caught the scammers lol.

I've bought lots off CL too! Great site! I agree.........I only buy if it's local and I can deal with the seller in person! Too many scams out there to risk dealing with long distance transactions.

Awhile back here a couple listed on CL a mans home full of stuff - he was supposed to be passwed away so every one should pick every thing up, including live stock. The man came home from his fishing trip to find an almost empty home and his horses were also gone...The law did catch the couple who ran the add in CL and they were former employees of the man. He did get his horses back but almost nothing else...CL be careful!
