Porsche 944 Lights problem

Looking for some help on a 1983 944 2.5 - the high beam on the left headlight won't work - it's not the bulb, the fuse or the switch. There is a yellow cable hanging near the fuse box but I couldn't find the wiring diagram for the cables assembly so I am not sure what it's for. Thanks

I had a similar problem. Turns out it was a break in the wire at the loop where the wire bends before the headlight unit itself. I removed the wire protective sheathing and it was broken at the bend.

Thanks guys - there was no power at the fuse box so I had to go the mechanic after all - now there is an extra wire going in there but I have high beam at the end. Thanks again for the help.
