OT: saw Panamera for first time today

It's better looking in person than in photos, and it definitely has a "luxury/expensive" look to it.

But the hump and whole area around the rear seat is very ungainly looking.

I was impressed but disturbed at the same time.

Everytime I see a 944 on the other hand - I just say to myself that's a good looking car!

I would take the twin turbo S on a road trip with my kids in the back ANY DAY.

I was down at the local dealership getting parts last week, and I saw 2 of them. They definitely look better in person than in the pictures. Even the back doesn't look bad in person, my 2 cents.

I haven't got use to the tail section yet, but from a technical standpoint its a cool ride. I saw one on the road the other day. The front is neat.

Guys -- the rear looks like a bigger version of the Chrysler Crossfire!

By chance, I saw both the "S" and the Turbo coming off the transport at my local dealer in San Antonio. The Turbo engine bay is extremely hot looking. If you are hauling around high value clients, I would rather have the Panamera than a MBZ, BMW, Audi or anything short of a Bentley.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ferry Porsche once said that a sports car only has two doors and should have only two seats - I guess times have changed or maybe it's a GT car instead.

I got to check one out yesterday. I have to say.........VERY nice! I especially like the look and feel of the interior. The rear "bucket" seats are pretty nice, and there is a decent amount of room back there.

I have to agree with others..........the rear "hump" styling is not the best looking. That is definitely my least favorite "feature" of the car. Overall, very nice car though!!

Has anybody here driven or owns one? I'd love to hear some feedback on how it rides and drives! Or, if you'd let me take it out for a spin........I'd surely take you up on that offer!! LOL!
