what would cause it not turning over?

I've been working on her trying to figure out why she won't get fuel. When i went out the other day tried to get her to turn over, and now all she does is light up the cluster then clunck, and nothing. try to turn it over again and no power. I took the battery to Autozone to test it, and they said it is good, and has 90% charge. I take it home, try it. same thing as before. I have replaced the negative battery cable, but it still does the same thing...

Any ideas?

Make sure all the terminals are clean and making good connection... smear a little grease on them to make sure they don't corrode...

hello

Question

Did your car ever turn over?

Reason for asking I just bought a non runner and it would just go dead when you hit the key.

My friend discovered it had two ungo switches installed with the after market alarm system.

just a thought

I was testing the resistance on the electrical system on wensday, then thursday I went to test some more things and it wouldn't turn over.

Replacing the battery ground is a good start, but you may also want to inspect/clean the grounds from the motor to the firewall. Our Chump car would not turn over with the main one disconnected.
