clutch won't fully engage?

ok, I've replaced both master and slave, bled them multiple times. The pedal is still a little limp and when the pedal is deressed all of the way it sticks a little. Today I noticed that the rod that the clutch pedal is hooked up to (the one with the spring on the outside) The end where it hooks up to the under the dash is that it's missing the hold down. (the rod was moving with the pedal) . I rigged up a little piece of wire that would go through the hole in the rod, and tired to test the clutch, it feels firm, but when i start her up, it won't fully engage. all i hear is the clutch slipping. Any ideas?

Also can someone post a pic of the spring and and where it ties down so i can get a reference.

thanks

levi
