Anybody running Ecsta V710 225/50R15?

Looking at putting Kumho Ecsta V710 on my 924S track car. Trailing arms lowered, 1.5" lowering springs, -1 camber rear and -3 camber front. I would use 15" PD wheels. I've currently got some 16" PD wheels with Hankook Ventus R-S2 205/50Z16 fronts and those are really close to scraping the struts. I'm really concerned about buying the 225/50R15 and having to loose some of that nice camber. If I go down to the 205/50R15 then I'll gain room for camber but I loose tire width and diameter.

The specs for the V710 in the 205/50R15 are tread width 7.6", diameter 22.9".

And the V710 in 225/50R15 is 9" and 23.7".

The current 16" Hankooks are 7.2" and 23.9".

Maybe the 225's with 1/4" wheel spacers?

Do you run stock struts or Coil over style? My car is very similar in settings, coil over 2.5in. springs, 225/45/15 Toyo's (8.7 in width) and I can run max neg. camber with adj. plates. My guess is the stock dia. springs/struts would be too close but run the smaller springs and your fine.

Stock struts with Koni sports and 200 lb. lowering spring (stock diameter). Beside the closeness to the springs, the larger overall tire diameter is more desirable. I ran Falken Azenis RT-615 in 205/50R15 for a while early this season. Those had an overall diameter of 23.1" and I didn't really care for it. The smaller size increased wheel spin on launch and effectively lowered the gear ratio. Also lowered the car to the ground more (but that was a good thing). I don't think the 225/50R15's will be any problem in the rear though.
