M573 - air conditioning
I see this is the factory option code for AC, so it must have been possible to order the car as AC delete, right? So how did the factory do the belt and pully changes?
Need to know so I can make my car SCCA Solo legal for the new STR class. From how I read the rules, if the car could come not equipped with AC, then the delete must match the factory's non AC setup. I already removed my stuff, but fabbed my own delete bracket for the Alternator.

I don't know about US but here in Europe all NA 944's came as standard without AC and you could have had it as optional.Infact most euro NA's are Non AC equipped. For turbo's it's a different story, they all had AC as standard except for the CUP cars ofcourse.
