High Idle

Not exactly a huge problem, but worth mentioning. It's been doing it since i bought the car. It starts up and idles fine 95% of the time. Occasionally, always when the car is warm, when i stop at a red light it idles at about 2k....It will usually do this for about 10 or 15 seconds, then slowly go back down to normal and may not do it again at all the rest of the day. Other days it does it at every red light...Like i said, it's not really a big deal at all, but if I know what it is i may get around to fixing it some day. Thanks guys!

Maybe an improperly adjusted throttle cable, TPS or intermitent vaccum leak? If it happened all the time I would say to adjust the idle screw but if it happens once in a while then I'm not sure. Best of luck.

Check for vacuum leaks -

+1 on sticking throttle at throttle body (Maybe weak return spring or seals are leaking and embrittled on throttle body). Throttle body reseal/rebuild kits are available and inexpensive (Be sure to lightly grease o'rings when rebuilding throttle body).
