Did you do that with a wire brush?
Are you going to coat it with something before reinstalling?

I'll be soda blasting and powder coating mine sometime in the next few weeks. Will try to remember to post pics when it is done.

Hey - I was thinking about getting my phone dials powder coated a dull gold. I think it will look great with a red 924S.

PHOTOSHP opportunity if anybody feels like it!!

That looks awesome!!!

Don't forget to get the throttle cable pulley bracket and oil dipstick tube powder coated a glossy black to complete the look

BTW, nice photo shopping. I'll have to try that with my choice of colors... mirror red for the valve cover and wrinkle black for the intake manifold and cam sprocket cover. (zermatt silver exterior)

I like your combinations.

Gold wheels can look nice:

And you can do a lot of different things with intakes/cam towers... (powder coating is best - and permanent, but High temp engine paint is cheap and easy and works just great, too)...

or

Yes, that is a flourescent pink turbo peeking out from behind the MAF...

Or another combo:

Or even this (great idea but not on a red car - black, yes, but not red...)

this thread is a disappointment. I was hoping to see ITBs and a big asz plenum with MAF. this isn't porn it's the swimsuit issue.
have fun putting those little black caps back in your twin cam valve cover once you powder coat it.

Endat if you want to do it yourself there is paint out there call "Dupli-Color METALCAST" it's an Anodized surface colour system paint ,it come in all kind of colour including cold it is a heat & oil resistant paint & very durable There is a way to apply this paint so you'll get the desire hue, work real good on alluminum. As you can see I did the spark-plugs shroud & rad cap on my 968 but in charcoal grey.
