Does anyone have info on how the heater cable clips attach onto the heater control levers. Photos would be great.
Thanks |

As far as I know, it attaches to the plastic piece that's probably busted on the back of the control unit. Search for SoCal Driver, he once fixed his with some crafty engineering. Unfortunately, we won't ever know how it held up. Rest in peace, Hugh.

Your talking "83-85.1" right?
You've got the cable, which is like a bike brake cable, that has a 90 degree bend on the end. There's a hole where this cable attaches to the knobs that stick out to control the heat, and a metal clip snaps over it to hold it in place. i wish i had taken a picture while i had it apart ( i had to swap all heater parts from my parts car to my car) heres a diagram from the manual ![]() However it doesn't have the clips which i believe your looking for pics of.

I'd bet that the arm pictured above in part 21, has given up the ghost.

I believe the clip you need is number 28. part number 477819343. You can order it here or from your local dealership. Order a few extra, they have a tendency to go flying where you don't want them to.
