Rubber Renewal for Dry Strut Bumpers?
I've been taking stuff out of the front end of my 85.5 - and right now am reconditioning the front struts. The strut (rubber) bumpers seem ok and reusable, although perhaps a little dry. Is there any type of "rubber renewal" product out there that someone could recommend? Thanks!

If I understand the part you refer to...
Due to the inexpensive cost $3.25 each-Pelican, I suggest you just replace. You could put on some ArmorAll or similiar but it will only make the outside of the bumper shiny and the material will still be brittle and hard. Pelican Parts - Product Information: 171-412-303-C-M36 Check the top strut mount for wear and damage. GL John_AZ
