Injector Noise
 

how loud should the injectors be? i know they will make some sound being pulse injectors but mine are excessively loud, to the point you can hear them inside the car. after doing some searching seems a lot of people had theirs improperly seated but looking at my injectors there is only one slit to install the locking clip so i don't think that's the cause. would having bad sound pads make this big a difference?

For the longest time I thought I had lifter problems. Long story short the loud clicking was from the injectors. It's not as loud now after rebuilding them. If it weren't for the injectors I think my car would be extremly quite .

yup, their loud. :) I have 83#'rs and it's noticeably loud, even with the hood closed. It is what it is...

I can't say that I hear mine clicking inside the car though...that doesn't mean anything is wrong though.
