Need Clutch Help ASAP
Getting ready to put throw out bearing on pressure plate and am not sure which way the cupped shim goes,towards the fingers so its cup is the same way as the pressure plate or away so there is a gap between the pressure plate and the outside of the cupped shim. This is on a 90 S2.

There should be no gap. And no play. Use as many shims as you can fit.

The spring washer should cup toward the fingers of the pressure plate, or up as shown on the attached photo. I put all three washer / spacers on my bearing.
