NOT LH thread

Have done the job several times. It is NOT a left handed thread. I have a wrench that I ground down from the next smallest SAE size as they can be a bbeeatch. If you have the room a deep socket (6 pt) may also be an option. Heat with a propane torch and quench with pen fluid a few times and then shock or wake the thing (gently) by tapping on it. If that still doesn't get her out. Remove the EX manifold and take the OPRV out with the housing and deal with it on a bench where you can give it SPECIAL attention. (price and locate replacement housing in case there are casualties)

Get the best 6 pt box or open end as securely on there as you can and tap on the end with a hammer to twist it out usually works. YMMV.

When they freeze up they freeze up badly. I agree about removing the whole housing. Then take it to someone else and make it their problem.

A 1/2" drive ratchet will work with the right extensions, especially with a long flex head breaker bar IIRC.
